“SWL 472J” has undergone a truly astonishing £20,000+ restoration which reflects in the stunning condition of the car throughout. 

With an extensive history folder showcasing the invoices for all the parts and labour gone into this car, it’s clear to see this was a labour of love rather then a financial gain. 

Not only does it have the recent years of invoices, it also includes paperwork all the way back to the 80’s along with many old MOT certificates. Within the paperwork there is also a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, verifying it’s a home market car which was built on the 5th of May 1971 and was despatched to its registered dealer on the 3rd of June 1971.  

No expense has been spared on “SWL 472J” including carb rebuilds, new fuel hose, battery cables / crimps, prop-shaft, water pump, suspension bushes, new hood and tonneau cover just to list a few.  

Overall this is a remarkable example of an MGB Roadster which needs to be seen to be appreciated.
