FORD CORTINA MK1

description

Surrey Hills Classics are proud to offer this multiple award winning 1966 Ford Cortina MK1 Fleet.

There’s not many occasions where you experience a car of quite this quality and provenance.

“JGK 102D” was ordered on the 2nd of may 1966 by Mr Clifford Chambers and was then later delivered on the 22nd June 1966. Mr Chambers then went on to own the car for 45 years!

Mr Chambers often made trips to Germany so ordered the car with continental headlights and an anti-theft steering lock which cost £3.85!

“JGK 102D” was restored some 15 years ago to an extremely high standard and was repainted in the original colour of Purbeck Grey and re trimmed in Ravenna Red.

The underside and engine bay are as good as on top of the car leaving no detail un touched.

The history folder is also no exception to this cars quality, showcasing all tax discs, original bill of sale, every v5 including the original green logbook and even a stamped service book!

Mk1 cortina owners club have established this is 1 of just 34 UK Fleet models know to exist which makes this an extremely rare car!

Overall this is an exciting opportunity to own an extremely rare and outstanding MK1 Ford Cortina Fleet.

Viewings are highly recommended to appreciate the condition of this car.
